Utilizing Artificial Intelligence to Increase Vocabulary for Multilingual Learners
Saturday October 26, 2024 12:50pm - 1:40pm PDT
Join this session to learn how we integrated Artificial Intelligence in our classroom through vocabulary development to empower learners, especially our multilingual learners. You will learn how we used our first experiences with AI to contribute to a robust foundation for utilizing education technology as an integrated approach to help us learn across various educational settings. We will be showcasing a replicable student project that can be adopted at your own pace that helps address the hesitation that many educators feel towards learning new and emerging technologies. This project is an example of the power of AI in education, demonstrating how AI can be introduced through “Quick, Draw!” an interactive game, explored further with Microsoft Copilot, and contributed to the emergence of a new method of student expression. The project is broken down into multiple segments that explain the rationale behind the layered approach of teaching educational technology to students.
